Gold Award for Safety Group
The Taranaki Construction Safety Group won first prize at the annual 3M Awards for innovation in Health & Safety last week. The award recognises the groups work in their Trades Apprentice Safety Challenge initiative. The group has delivered a range of initiatives over the last couple of years, including seminars, training and the annual Trades Apprentice Challenge. All this with no budget, but a lot of commitment from the members and support of a number of local organisations. How does that relate to ITL? Well, one of the contributing members of the safety group is our own QHSE Coordinator: Sarah Reilly! ITL is an enthusiastic sponsor of prizes for the Trades Apprentice Challenge and can't wait to help out again next year. Congratulations Sarah!
